At Hindley Contractors, community and compassion are at the heart of everything we do. This commitment was powerfully demonstrated in 2019, when our Managing Director, Joe Hindley, laced up his running shoes and took on the challenge of the Brighton Marathon in one of the UK’s 26.2-mile races.
Held annually along the stunning south coast, the Brighton Marathon attracts thousands of runners from across the country, each taking part for personal achievement, charity, or in memory of a loved one. Joe proudly represented Hindley Contractors while raising vital funds for Dementia UK, a charity that provides specialist support for families affected by dementia through its Admiral Nurse service.
Dementia is a cause close to many, and Joe’s dedication to running the marathon was driven by a genuine desire to make a difference. Through months of training and unwavering determination, he not only completed the marathon but also managed to raise an impressive £3,240.00 in donations.
We are extremely proud of Joe’s efforts and humbled by the generosity of everyone who donated and supported his journey. His run serves as a reminder of the impact individuals and businesses can have when we come together for a common cause.
