Supporting mental health in the workplace has never been more important – Especially in an industry where approximately 75% of the workforce is male, supporting men’s mental health isn’t just important — it’s essential.
We’re incredibly proud to announce that six members of our management team have successfully completed their Mental Health First Aid training.
To put this into perspective, small and medium-sized businesses with fewer than 50 employees typically have an average of just two trained Mental Health First Aiders. Yet with 1 in 4 people now experiencing a mental health challenge, we recognised the need to go further.
That’s why we’ve made a clear commitment: to have one trained Mental Health First Aider for every four employees. This ensures that support is not only available, but truly accessible whenever it’s needed.
By investing in training and creating open conversations around mental wellbeing, we’re actively building a culture where asking for help is encouraged and support is always close by.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved. Your commitment is helping us create a safer, healthier, and more supportive workplace for all.
